PHYSICAL AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF<br />

ANCHOR MIXTURE APPLIED IN THE ORE BODY “T” **<br />

One of the materials, used for ensuring the stability in exploitation the ore body “T“ is the anchor<br />

mixture. It was necessary to check the physical and mechanical properties of anchor mixture<br />

because of its participation in the rock mass stability. The results of these tests are present in this<br />

paper.<br />

Key words: anchor mixture, ore body “T”, physical and mechanical properties<br />

INTRODUCTION<br />

Concrete is a heterogeneous, multiphase<br />

material, obtained by binding various<br />

types of aggregates with the cement<br />

paste. Aggregate present a linear elastic<br />

component and the cement paste is high<br />

elastic component.<br />

Mixing of concrete components in the<br />

controlled conditions is aimed to obtain<br />

more complete homogenization of mixture<br />

with properly bound aggregate and cement<br />

paste.<br />

On the request of the company<br />

Polimerinžekt Ltd. from Bulgaria, which<br />

carried out the works on ensuring the rock<br />

mass stability in exploitation the “T” ore<br />

body in the Bor pit mine, the samples of<br />

anchor mixture were tested on a compressive<br />

strength.<br />

Samples were delivered by Polimerinžekt<br />

Ltd.<br />

TESTS RESULTS<br />

Anchor mixture samples were delivered<br />

to the Laboratory for Geomechanics.<br />

Dimensions of the samples were 7.3 cm<br />

(diameter) and 7.5 cm (height), Figure 1.<br />

Figure 2 presents the appearance of<br />

samples after testing.<br />
