7. EXPLOITATION COSTS<br />

Exploitation costs, discussed in this<br />

paper, include the following costs:<br />

• fuel costs<br />

• costs of lubricants,<br />

• costs of pneumatics,<br />

• maintenance costs and repair of vehicles.<br />

The costs for fuel, lubricants, pneumatics,<br />

vehicle maintenance and repair are<br />

calculated according to the expressions [3]<br />

to the amount of (values in Table 9):<br />

8. COSTS OF TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS<br />

Total economic costs caused by all traffic<br />

accidents on the move of road in one<br />

year, are determined by the formula [3] :<br />

T su = L×<br />

∑ Nk<br />

× Ck<br />

(€/god)<br />

k<br />

where:<br />

k – indication of accident type<br />

( 1 –accident with deadly injuries;<br />

2 – accidents with serious body<br />

injuries; 3 – accidents without<br />

serious body injuries).<br />

Nk – average number of accidents per<br />

kilometer per year, for the certain<br />

types of accidents k (accident/km/year).<br />

This value depends<br />

on the type of road and<br />

Overview of these costs is given in<br />

9. IMPACT ON THE OVERALL<br />

DEVELOPMENT OF AREA<br />

Parameters that affect the overall development<br />

of the area have been avaluated<br />

through the following items:<br />

• route in the spatial conflict (conflict<br />

with regional plans is evaluated through<br />

the length of such track, or points);<br />

• preservation of existing settlements<br />

and encouragement of future urbanization<br />

(evaluation of points);<br />

• preservation of ugricultural and forest<br />

areas (is evalued by points);<br />

• the reality of performance, which is<br />

evaluated based on the need for resettlement,<br />

the possibility of obtaining<br />

the necessary material (for embankments),<br />

etc..<br />

Assessments for evaluation are given<br />

in Table 11.<br />
