4. TRAFFIC LOAD<<strong>br</strong> />

Traffic load in the base year is determined<<strong>br</strong> />

on the basis of reports of traffic<<strong>br</strong> />

counting Bioče (Louis Berger, October<<strong>br</strong> />

2007), or empirical and modeling annual<<strong>br</strong> />

average daily traffic (AADT) in 2007 for the<<strong>br</strong> />

road M-2, section Podgorica – Bioče and<<strong>br</strong> />

the road R-19, section Bioče – Mateševo.<<strong>br</strong> />

Structure of traffic flow in the future<<strong>br</strong> />

highway is determined based on permanent<<strong>br</strong> />

seven-day traffic count (Table 5) on<<strong>br</strong> />

the road M-2, section Podgorica – Bioče<<strong>br</strong> />

in October 2007.<<strong>br</strong> />

Based on the mentioned data and assumptions,<<strong>br</strong> />

the traffic load (AADT) for<<strong>br</strong> />

future highway section Smokovac – Uvač<<strong>br</strong> />

(Table 6) was calculated in the period<<strong>br</strong> />

2008 – 2027.<<strong>br</strong> />

5. CONSTRUCTION COSTS<<strong>br</strong> />

Estimation of construction costs was<<strong>br</strong> />

made on the basis of route structures and<<strong>br</strong> />

facilities (<strong>br</strong>idges, viaducts and tunnels,<<strong>br</strong> />

etc.) and price evaluation for these facilities.<<strong>br</strong> />

Price estimation (Table 7) was made<<strong>br</strong> />

on the basis of previously realized projects,<<strong>br</strong> />

respectively the market prices for<<strong>br</strong> />

this type of works. Unit prices for <strong>br</strong>idges<<strong>br</strong> />

are determined as the average prices based<<strong>br</strong> />

on individually determined prices for each<<strong>br</strong> />

<strong>br</strong>idge. Estimation the cost of works on<<strong>br</strong> />

tunnels was carried out on the basis of the<<strong>br</strong> />

average price 1 m of tunnel tube (for the<<strong>br</strong> />

left or right roadway depending on length,<<strong>br</strong> />

and the same was adopted for tunnels at<<strong>br</strong> />

high or low route).<<strong>br</strong> />
