RISK AND HAZARD WITH HIGH<br />
SCALE OF INFLUENCE<br />
The research encompasses the period<br />
from 1992 to 2008 in the Brown Coal<br />
Mine Kakanj, based on data on the activities<br />
of the Rescue Service Headquarters.<br />
This Service is the Mine's topmost authority,<br />
which determines, analyses, assesses<br />
and makes decisions regarding crises.<br />
Based on these records and upon inspection<br />
of "The Book of the Rescue Service<br />
Noise<br />
Vibration<br />
Illumination<br />
Headquarters",[5] we find a number of<br />
cases this authority has dealt with in the<br />
last 16 years which can freely be denoted<br />
as crises or hazardous situations. The chart<br />
below shows an overview of crises and<br />
hazardous situations happened in the mentioned<br />
16-year-period. Chart 1 presents<br />
the character and frequency of occurrence<br />
the certain incidents in this period.<br />
