are signified by Saturn, and the sign wherein he is. And understand this<br />
touching the quality of the good or evil understood or signified by any of the<br />
other planets; for according to the nature of the sign and planet therein must<br />
you give judgement.<br />
[Saturn in the third]<br />
Saturn in the third if he is well dignified, shall generally denote mirth and jollity<br />
to the people, that they shall delight and associate themselves one with another,<br />
and all heart-burning 1<br />
and differences between them shall be forgotten and laid<br />
aside. But if he is in the third and unfortunate, men shall suffer by short<br />
journeys, shall envy, hate and disturb one another, shall be liars, perfidious and<br />
treacherous, and oftentimes shall have terrible and troublesome dreams, etc.<br />
[Saturn in the fourth]<br />
Also if he is in the fourth and strong, as above said, men shall be very laborious<br />
and successful in manuring, 2 husbanding the ground, and shall much delight<br />
themselves therein, and shall thrive thereby, as also by heritages and houses.<br />
But if he is weak, there shall be no profit in such things; houses shall come to<br />
ruin, the earth shall not give its due increase 3<br />
[Saturn in the fifth]<br />

as will be expected by the<br />
husbandman whose hopes therein will be frustrated, and much of his time spent<br />
in vain.<br />
Again, if he is in the fifth and strong, the people shall be joking, pleasant and<br />
merry; shall delight in their children, feastings, and the like. If he is<br />
therein weak, judge the contrary; sadness for joy, crosses by children delights in them and penury and wants instead of feasts.<br />
[Saturn in the sixth]<br />
If he is fortified in the sixth, judge health to the people, if it is human signs<br />
which possesses the cusp thereof and good to servants. If it is bestial, it will be<br />
more especially manifest in such creatures as are thereby represented; as if<br />
