<strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Suder</strong> is professor of European & International <strong>Business</strong>, Jean Monnet Chair and Microsoft<br />
Partnership Director at SKEMA <strong>Business</strong> <strong>School</strong>. She is a member of the SKEMA Research Center in<br />
Knowledge, Technology and Organisation.<br />
Education:<br />
<strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Suder</strong> holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Governmental Studies, University of Strathclyde,<br />
Scotland, UK , and a <strong>PhD</strong> in Management, University of Bath, UK, a doctorate, and is a graduate of<br />
International Teacher’s Programme, from IMD (Lausanne).<br />
Academic experience:<br />
<strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Suder</strong> has 15 years of experience in academic administration and teaching. Most recently, she was<br />
the SKEMA Associate Dean for Global Management between 2005 and 2007 and again in 2010. She<br />
was then awarded the Jean Monnet Chair in European integration by the European Union (European<br />
Commission Education & Training) that she holds to date. The Jean Monnet Chair is a Jean Monnet<br />
projects are selected on the basis of academic merits, based on deontological scrutiny and a process<br />

<strong>Dr</strong> <strong>Suder</strong>, who was international corporate relations manager from 2008 to 2010, is at the same time<br />
also Microsoft Partnership Director, managing and supervising innovative research (including the<br />
Microsoft Chair), pedagogy, entrepreneurship and recruitment activities, based on many years of<br />

<strong>Dr</strong> <strong>Suder</strong> is external examiner of the ESCP Europe Master in Management, ranked No 1 on the<br />
Financial Times 2010 list, and is visiting professor for CEMS (listed second on the same list) at Aalto<br />
University, Helsinki, Finland, for several years now She is also Visiting Professor at several other<br />
distinguished international universities, and is particularly active in pedagogical multi-site<br />
innovation.<br />
Professional experience:<br />
Prior to her academic career, <strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Suder</strong> gained her professional experience on corporate level<br />
(Thomson C.E. External Affairs Department, Ferguson Ltd, Sony Uk; own start-up) and with<br />
European interest associations (Collaboration and research), and holds advisory positions for several<br />
corporations.<br />

Maintenance of Qualification:<br />
<strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Suder</strong>’s research is dedicated to two fields, primo, that of Europeanization and ‘Doing <strong>Business</strong> in<br />
Europe’, in particular in regard to location and institutional relations strategy, and, secondo, that of<br />
global risk and terrorism studies in the field of international business and marketing, with an<br />
extension to corporate responsibility studies. She regularly publishes books, textbooks, academic and<br />
practitioner journal articles, case studies, and is regularly invited to contribute to national and<br />
