In this lab, you learned:<br />
● About the various tools and procedures used to configure WebSphere DataPower SOA<br />
Appliances.<br />
● Application domains are used to logically partition a DataPower appliance. A domain can<br />
be used for an organizational line of business, or as a location for one or more developers<br />
to collaborate when implementing a solution.<br />
● Configuration is accomplished through any of three administrative interfaces: command<br />
line (CLI), WebGUI, and SOAP-based XML interface.<br />
● How to upload a file to the local: directory in the Flash-based file system.<br />
● How WebSphere DataPower appliances control access to their administrative interfaces<br />
through the use of access control lists, user accounts, groups, and access policies.<br />
● About the three configuration phases: network services/user configuration phase,<br />
application development phase, and production management phase.<br />
● About the various WebSphere DataPower services that you can use to create simple to<br />
complex processing policies (XSL Accelerator, Web Application Firewall, XML Firewall,<br />
Multi-Protocol Gateway, and Web Service Proxy).<br />
● How the built-in logging subsystem is based on the publish-subscribe paradigm, with log<br />
targets acting as subscribers to specific message categories.<br />
● How WebSphere DataPower appliances provides complete system status and metrics<br />
from the WebGUI.<br />
● That various monitoring protocols such as SNMP, WSDM, and WS-Management are<br />
supported.<br />
