Description<br />
With laser technology becoming more efficient at deploying signals<br />
further into the field, optical couplers are playing a larger<br />
role in distributing networks. As a result, fiber management<br />
products built around these designs must be flexible and cost<br />
effective. <strong>Fiber</strong> Tronix provides a robust optical splitter module<br />
which harnesses quality splitters in an LGX® and FOX compatible<br />
package. Each coupling module is fully equipped with<br />
bulkhead connectors for immediate installation, reducing timely<br />
fusion splicing. In addition, each coupling module clearly<br />
identifies input and output along with coupling ratios. By using<br />
modular equipment, fragile optical couplers become adequately<br />
protected throughout the installation process. <strong>Fiber</strong>Tronix<br />
modules are easily integrated into the FOX-TERM shelf which<br />
can accommodate up to 12 modules. Splitter modules are also<br />
easily mounted into all LGX® compatible equipment, reducing<br />
conversions and equipment incompatibilities. Also available are<br />
custom concatenated designs incorporating two to several optical<br />
splitters in one modular package. This allows for a greater<br />
utilization of increased laser power, ultimately reducing the<br />
usage of costly laser equipment.<br />
