Buildout
Description
Single-mode Attenuators are housed in Buildout Barrels that
snap into the Buildout Blocks to form a complete coupling. The
attenuator has a lens which reduces reflections, depending on
the performance of the connectors.
SC Buildouts can be used with the 8115 ST ® Buildout Block, and
ST ® and FC Buildouts can be used with the 8315 SC Buildout
Block. This ability to interchange parts allows the creation of
adapters from one connector type to another.
