President’s Message, from page 3 100 new residents due to move in between January and the end of March 2013. We are thrilled to welcome new residents of Columbus Place and those who have recently moved into McPherson Place, a new 6 story urban condominium right here in Bridgeland/Riverside. I’ve also had the privilege of meeting several new families into our neighborhood and we welcome you to our neighborhood and look forward to connecting. We are also fortunate as a community when new businesses move in to our neighborhood. We welcome Gunther’s Fine Baking offering fantastic breads and pastries and Deville Café and Wine bar, offering tasty delights and two of life’s most necessary elixirs! New energy comes from new business development presenting creative opportunities to grow our community and connect ourselves. Our BRCA board, community residents, businesses, and key stakeholders are working hard to build connections throughout our community. Connecting with another may occur through the many community events but it can also be as simple as knocking on your neighbor’s door and introducing yourself. When we welcome a newcomer, we create an inviting culture in our neighborhood where diversity may thrive and our strengths become known. Welcome to all our newcomers to Bridgeland/Riverside. We look forward to connecting with you throughout 2013. Peggy Wouts, President Bridgeland-Riverside Community Association WOMEN’S EVENT Bridgeland/Riverside Ladies Night Out Our next Bridgeland Ladies Night Out event is scheduled for February 27th starting at 6:30pm until 9:30pm.
