11.7 – Graph / X axis Shift
Each set of data begins starts from one of the following functions: Power on / Trigger active / lap beacon. When
comparing 2 or more sets of data, the event you wish to compare may occur at a different Time from the beginning
of the data set, for this reason it is necessary to shift either an individual channel or and entire set of data either left
or right to make it align with other data channels.
The following piece of data shows a damper measurement over a fixed bump in the track, the blue and red channels
are from different vehicles and have hit the bump at a
different time within the data set. This is shown my the
misalignment of the comparison.
Shift a graph .............. Shift only a single graph
Shift a comparison ..... Shift every channel from the selected data set
Shift a lap................... Shift every channel within the selected lap
Reset graphs ............. Remove the graph shift
Use the Shift command from the lower tool
bar and choose from one of the following
options.
After any of the upper 3 are used and the appropriate data selected your mouse will turn into a hand, physically drag
the data until you are happy with the alignment and then release the mouse button and press Enter on your
keyboard
