The entire capture system is used to automatically manage the data storage, file naming and tagged data. A file tree
structure will be created for you as shown at the bottom of this page.
Run recognition - Whenever a new Run is incremented the download process will create a completely new and
separate data file. If switched off, all data downloads from that logger will be included within the same file.
Car recognition – When switched off, the Alias and identification of the logger is not considered.
These folders are created from the
‘Alias’ name of the logger
Choose - Automatic
Select the PC communication method you are using
Select this to ensure automatic device recognition
Used for ‘off ground’ testing of the car,
accumulated distance not recognised.
It is recommended to leave at 0
This folder group is created from the default download folder as
defined in section 6.4
This ‘bench’ folder is created from the ‘Track’ choice in ‘Acquisition

This ‘test’ folder is created from the ‘Session’ choice in ‘Acquisition
