weight on optimum FP could be found. But as to subject 12,<br />

the pattern <strong>of</strong> the graph shows the optimum FP is shorter for<br />

the shorter FPs weighted condition than for the longer FPs weighted<br />

condition, although no significant statistical evidence could<br />

be found.<br />

Considering the general pattern <strong>of</strong> the results obtained<br />

from experiment II, we can conclude that change in weight on<br />

FPs can bring about shift <strong>of</strong> optimum FP.<br />

EXPERIMENT III<br />

When the subject anticipates the <strong>time</strong> point at which the<br />

next stimulus will be presented, his anticipation may be affected<br />

by the preceding context <strong>of</strong> the experimental situation. Reaction<br />

<strong>time</strong>s for a pqrticular FP may depend on the FP at the preceding<br />

trial.
