Megújuló uszoda Renewed pool
� A Kispesti Uszoda 1988-ban
nyitotta meg kapuit, befogadóképessége
480 fô. A vendégek

� Az uszodában egy 33,3 x 16
méteres, 26–28 o C-os nagymedence, valamint egy
16 x 18 méteres, 30–32 o C-os tanmedence várja az úszás
szerelmeseit, valamint az úszni tanulókat. Az uszodához
egy 2335 m 2 -es parkosított terület tartozik, ahol
napozókert található számtalan lehetôséget kínálva
a pihenni, kikapcsolódni, szórakozni vágyóknak.
Érdemes kipróbálni a strandröplabda- és a korszerû
focipályát is.
� Az uszoda kiváló közlekedési csomópontban, a 3-as
metróvonal végállomásánál, a Ferihegyi gyorsforgalmi
út melletti kis erdô szélén található.

� The swimming pool of Kispest opened its
doors for the public in 1988, with a capacity
of 480 persons. The comfort of visitors is
provided by a practical cabinet system and
changing rooms with a common use. The
diversified offer of tickets and permanent
tickets ensures favourable conditions for fulfilling
the guests’ various needs.
One can find here a bigger swimming
pool - 33,3 x 16 metres, with water temperature of 26-28 o C,
furthermore, a training pool of 16 x 18 metres, with water temperature
of 30-32 o C, thus both the needs of fans of swimming
and beginners can be met.
� A 2335 m 2 landscaped area belongs to the swimming pool, as well;
here the sunbathing garden offers a lot of possibilities for all those who
would like to have a rest, or to have fun. It is worthwhile to try also
the beach volleyball court and the modern football court, too.
� The swimming pool is located in a perfect transport hub, at the
final stop of the blue metro line (nr. 3), at the edge of a small forest
next to Ferihegy highway.

A Wekerlei Kultúrház és
Könyvtár közel 30 éve mûködik
a mûemlékvédett Wekerletelepen.
Fô célközönségét a kisbabás
családok és az óvodás-,
iskoláskorú gyermekek alkotják,
de számos, színvonalas
felnôtt tanfolyam és klub is
mûködik itt. Hétvégén változatos
családi programokat
kínálnak, gyakran ingyenesen
vagy kedvezô áron (bábszínházak,
táncházak, kézmûves programok, zöld programok,
tematikus rendezvényeket). Kirándulásaik, nyári táboraik
a kerületen kívül is népszerûek.
A kultúrház könyvtára különálló épületben, a telep centrumában,
a Kós Károly téren található. Gyûjtôkörét
elsôsorban a gyermek és ifjúsági könyvek, valamint
a környezetvédelemmel, természettel kapcsolatos kiadványok
alkotják.
A Petur utcai épületet az önkormányzat által elnyert
európai uniós forrásból 2010-ben felújították, így kulturált,
modern környezetben mûködnek a programok.
Wekerle Cultural Centre and Library
has been operating for almost 30 years
on the Wekerle protected monument
site. The Centre’s main target group
are families with little children and
preschool and school-age children,
however, the Centre offers also several
kinds of high-level courses for adults,
and various clubs operate here, as
well. At the weekends one can choose
from various family programs, in most
of the cases with free entry or at a
favourable price (puppetry, dance houses, arts and crafts programs,
green programs, themed events). Holidays and summer camps
organised by the Centre are very popular, too, not only among the
inhabitants of the district.
The library of the Cultural Centre is located in a separate building
in the centre of the site, at Kós Károly square. It specialises mainly on
literature for children and teenagers, furthermore, publications in
the field of environmental protection and nature.
The building at Petur street was renovated in 2010 from the EU
sources won by the local government, thus the programs are nowadays
organised in a cultural and modern environment.
