cytology samples. Preferred for immunohistochemical counterstaining of the nucleus. General

Orange-6 and EA are the two cytoplasmic counterstain solutions that are used sequentially in
the Papanicolaou staining method for clinical cytology. Gill’s modified OG-6 and EA are stable
