BioMag ® and BioMag ® Plus Superparamagnetic Particles are irregularly shaped iron oxide particles of<br />

approximately 1-2µm with a mean diameter of ~1.5µm. The particles are covered with a silane coating<br />

which provides functional groups for the attachment of antibodies or other ligands. The irregular shape<br />

of the BioMag ® particles provides increased surface area that results in high binding ability.<br />
