(Deschutes Co.)<br />

• Limit 2 fish per day, 8 inch minimum length for trout.<br />

Billy Chinook, Lake (Round Butte) • Open March 1-Oct. 31. In addition to an <strong>Oregon</strong> angling license, a tribal angling permit<br />

(Jefferson Co.):<br />

is required; see Special Regulations for Warm Springs Reservation at end <strong>of</strong> this zone.<br />

1. Metolius Arm (tribal water):<br />

• Closed to all angling from the cable car crossing on the Metolius River to a signed point<br />

East Boundary - a line running from approximately 350 yards downstream.<br />

the west abutment <strong>of</strong> Round Butte • Closed for crayfish (except tribal fishery) in Metolius Arm (tribal water).<br />

Dam to the southern l<strong>and</strong> point where<br />

the Deschutes <strong>and</strong> Metolius arms<br />

intersect.<br />

West Boundary - cable car crossing.<br />

• All bag limits <strong>and</strong> other restrictions from balance <strong>of</strong> reservoir apply (see below).<br />

2. Balance <strong>of</strong> reservoir • Open all year.<br />

• One bull trout per day <strong>and</strong> 1 bull trout in possession; 24 inch minimum length.<br />

• Unlawful to hold live bull trout.<br />

• Bull trout must be immediately released unharmed unless kept in the daily catch limit.<br />

• Trout daily limit, 5 trout per day, only 1 trout over 20 inches may be taken per day.<br />

• Kokanee are included as part <strong>of</strong> the trout bag limit.<br />

• Rainbow trout over 20 inches are considered steelhead <strong>and</strong> Kokanee over 16 inches<br />

are considered sockeye, <strong>and</strong> must be released unharmed.<br />

• 10 bass per day, no minimum length limit.<br />

Note: Upstream <strong>of</strong> ODFW marker in Crooked <strong>and</strong> Deschutes River arms:<br />

1. Open all year.<br />

2. Angling restricted to artificial flies <strong>and</strong> lures only with a 2 trout per day bag limit.<br />

Browns Creek (Wickiup Reservoir<br />

tributary, Deschutes Co.)<br />

• Closed.<br />

Buck Hollow Creek <strong>and</strong> tributaries<br />

(Deschutes Basin, Wasco Co.)<br />

• Closed.<br />

C<strong>and</strong>le Creek (Jefferson Co.) • Closed.<br />

Canyon Creek <strong>and</strong> tributaries (Jeff. Co.) • Closed.<br />

Chenoweth Creek <strong>and</strong> tributaries<br />

• Catch <strong>and</strong> release for trout.<br />

Crane Prairie Reservoir<br />

• Open April 27-Oct. 31.<br />

(Deschutes Co.)<br />

• Closed from 1 hour after sunset until 1 hour before sunrise.<br />

• The 5 trout daily limit may include only 1 non-fin-clipped rainbow trout <strong>and</strong> only 1<br />

rainbow trout over 16 inches in length.<br />

Crescent Lake (Klamath Co.) • Trout daily catch limit may include only 1 lake trout, 30 inch minimum length.<br />
