battalions for Naxal treatment, controlling the Naxalism and 53 companies, 9 battalion,
when you had asked for 4, 9 battalions exclusively for controlling the situation, which is
arising out of what has happened in Kandhamal.

May I say something here now that it has become a debate. Which I am surprised
about the meeting of this seriousness and I am just amazed but I must inform the Union
Home Minister that your forces came 5 days late after the violence begun. Some of
these forces have obviously been allocated to other districts which are naxal districts
and ten of the companies that you have sent happen to be trainees, who are no use for
active service at all. I don’t know whether you are aware, that 10 of the companies
of the central forces that you have sent, the para military forces are trainees , so there is
no active duty at all. Your forces came 5 days late, after the violence had peaked and
started coming down. Thank you. The Helicoptor that you sent came late, after the
trees had been removed. Which the people wanted to commit crimes had blocked the
trees. But I will not indulge in further debate, I think I have said what I have to say.

Mr. Chief Minister, this will be misleading the entire house and the country. Now
the forces which were given to you were withdrawn from the international broders. I
have been telling you, that you shall have to manage with the forces which are given to
you. It has not been possible for you to collect the forces from other districts and
deployment where they should be deployed and you are complaining that they were
given to you 5 days late. I had to withdraw from the International borders the forces to
help you. I gave you the aircrafts also, which could have been used for lifting the forces
from one place to the other. It pains me to say all those things. I would not have liked
to say all those thing but if we take a stand like this, all of us are very unhappy. Only
request we are making you is that let us please avoid saying these thing and let us
continue doing our duties.
