These are hard-wearing floor tiles for
the highest point loads. With their
hardness and durability, ZAHNA
floor tiles are ideal for use in supermarkets,
car workshops and industrial
structures.
The vibratory installation method is a
rational and superior method of laying
tiles rapidly and economically over
large surface areas.
Safety
car dealership
This is the range of non-slip and
secure-grip floor tiles. Employers‘
liability insurance associations prescribe
a specific quality for flooring
to avoid industrial accidents. Thanks
to differing tile surface profiles,
ZAHNA Safety floor tiles achieve
anti-slip prop erties of R9 to R13 and
grip depths of V0 to V10. The range
is completed with a special series for
wet, barefoot areas.
Resistant
These are our hard-wearing hexagonal
floor tiles which, due to their resistance
to acids and alkali, are finding in creased
use in light and heavy acid-proof
con struction and in the chemical
industry. The tile shape with special
spacers ensures that a secure flooring
is created whilst at the same time facilitating
the laying process. ZAHNA Resistant
floor tiles may be laid in abutting
form using the vibratory method.
Z-Spacer
The Z-Spacer (Zahnaer-Spacer) is a profi le formed
at regular intervals on the fl anks of ZAHNA tiles.
This ensures speedy installation with a defi ned
joint width, particularly during dry installation of
hexagon and High Traffi c tiles. The special design
of the Z-Spacers means that the joint gap is continuously
open, thus permitting easy fi lling of the entire
joint. A connection between the mortar bed and joint compound
is thus ensured, especially during vibratory installation
and when preparing elec trically-conductive fl ooring. The Z-Spacer
also prevents chipping along the tile surface during vibratory installation.
Combined with the dimensional accuracy of our products, the
Z-Spacer ensures a uniformly narrow gap pattern with a fi xed joint – a major advantage when preparing a fl oor that complies
with relevant quality standards.
We can manufacture unglazed fine stoneware tiles with
a ceramic surface finish on request. The finish is applied
to the ceramic fragments in an inseparable manner during
the firing process.
The advantages of the surface finish:
– ceramic sealing of the tile’s surface
– no waterproofing necessary after installation
– reduced soiling
– easy to clean
– elegant silk-matt lustre
– more intensive colour effect
Environmental awareness and sustainability in the building trade are largely determined by the building
materials. This concept of awareness has been a main characteristic of the business culture of ZAHNA FLIE-
SEN GmbH since many years. The protection of resources and the conservation of the environment, from
raw material extraction to recycling, are a main issue in our tile production. Our commitment with regard
to this ecological responsibility is reflected in the environmental certification issued by the institute „Bauen
und Umwelt e. V.“, and helps to ensure a high life quality of the present and future generations.
In the overall tile and subfl oor system, the subfl oor is always the weaker
component. The weight distributing effect of tiles depends on their thickness.
The load required to cause breakage also grows as tile thickness increases.
A sure choice of tiler and anticipated point loads can mean only one thing:
High Traffi c tiles from Zahna.
The fl oor in industrial and commercial buildings is
taken for granted and often practically ignored.
However, it pays off to be familiar with the required
properties and characteristics when selecting fl ooring
and to consider these when reaching purchasing
decisions.
Planners and architects who set the highest of
requirements in industrial construction have long
turned to unglazed fl ooring from ZAHNA FLIESEN
GmbH, due to its excellent technical and aesthetic
characteristics.
ZAHNA FLIESEN GmbH offers a comprehensive
product range in over 30 colours for problem solutions
in almost all areas of industrial, commercial and public
premises and private areas.
Different tile surface profi les mean that anti-slip
properties of R9 to R13 and grip depths of up to V10
can be achieved.
The product range is thus designed to supply building
contractors, tilers, architects and industrial fl ooring
design retailers with the right product from a single
source. They can rely completely at all times on a single
supplier.
Ceramic is also excellent as a cost-effective fl ooring
material. Initial additional material, installation and
renovation costs amortise rapidly over the relatively
maintenance-free service life.
