is created whilst at the same time facilitating<br />

Z-Spacer<br />

The Z-Spacer (Zahnaer-Spacer)<br />

is a profi le formed at regular<br />

intervals on the fl anks of ZAH-<br />

NA tiles. This ensures speedy<br />

installation with a defi ned joint<br />

width, particularly during dry installation<br />

of hexagon and High Traffi c<br />

tiles. The special design of the Z-Spacers<br />

means that the joint gap is continuously<br />

open, thus permitting easy fi lling of the entire<br />

joint. A connection between the mortar bed and<br />

joint compound is thus ensured, especially during<br />

vibratory installation and when preparing electrically-conductive<br />

fl ooring. The Z-Spacer also prevents<br />

chipping along the tile surface during vibratory installation.<br />

Combined with the dimensional accuracy of our products, the Z-Spacer ensures a uniformly narrow gap pattern with a<br />

fi xed joint – a major advantage when preparing a fl oor that complies with relevant quality standards.<br />

We can manufacture unglazed fine stoneware tiles with a ceramic surface<br />

finish on request. The finish is applied to the ceramic fragments in an inseparable<br />
