‘Pershore Zanzibar’- (Hill, 2004).<br />

Chamaecyparis nootkatensis- Can attain a large size of 60-90’. Forms a conical shape with<br />

pendulous branches. Use in “Forest Ridge” or “Wetl<strong>and</strong> Zone”. Ethnobotany: Wood used to<br />

make bows <strong>and</strong> tools. Medicinal teas from boughs<br />

‘Aurea’- Has light yellow foliage that later turns green. Use in “Forest Ridge” or<br />

“Wetl<strong>and</strong> Zone”.<br />

‘Aureovariegata’- Variegated yellow cultivar that lightens in summer <strong>and</strong> then becomes<br />

yellow- brown during winter months. Use in “Forest Ridge” or “Wetl<strong>and</strong> Zone”.<br />

‘Compacta’- A great compact form that is very dense in habit. Eventually becomes an<br />

open globe shape (Krussman, 1985).<br />

‘Compacta Glauca’- A dwarf form with blue-green branch-lets (Krussman, 1985).<br />

‘Glauca Pendula’- A blue-green colored form that has weeping side branches.<br />

‘Green Arrow’- Tall narrow growing type.<br />

‘Laura Aurora’- (Hill, 2004).<br />

‘Lutea’- A nice golden-yellow form.<br />

‘Pendula’- A weeping form that has side branches that extend outward <strong>and</strong> down. End<br />

of branches hang vertical.<br />
