These two Psilocybe species occur throughout the Pacific Northwest and California.<br />
Two other species that grow <strong>on</strong> <strong>Observatory</strong> <strong>Hill</strong>, Psilocybe m<strong>on</strong>tana and Psilocybe<br />
inquilina, are quite comm<strong>on</strong>, but they are not hallucinogenic.<br />

Fall weather in 2009 was ideal for corral fungi. Ramaria aurantiisiccescens is<br />
c<strong>on</strong>sidered rare by Exeter et al. (2006). This species is limited to the Pacific<br />
