Tour Description 

Brunei Capital City Tour 

Code: PBHO1 

Duration: 3 hours – Half Day 

City & Water Village Tour 

Code: PBH02 

Duration: 4 hours – Half Day 


Highlights include the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque, Royal 

Regalia Exhibition Hall, Jame Asr’ Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque 

and a view of the magnificent Istana Nurul Iman, the official 

residence of His Majesty the Sultan of Negara Brunei Darussalam. 

Ample photo stops will be made at each of the attractions besides the 

guided tour. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped at your hotel. 

Note: Non-Muslims are not allowed to enter the two mosques on 

Thursdays & Fridays. 

Highlights include the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque, Royal

Bolkiah Mosque and photo stop at the main entrance of the Royal 

Palace. You will also be taken on a scenic boat ride to the world’s largest 

water village. The Water Village perched on the Brunei River and home to 

around 30,000 people. Even for centuries ago, the size and complexity of 

Brunei Water Village greatly impressed the Magellan expedition which 

received a stately welcome upon entering Brunei Bay in 1521. Although 

most of the houses on stilts are now furnished with every modern amenity, 

the tranquility and serenity of a typical Malay village remains. Tea/ Coffee 

with local delicacies will be served in a house in the Water Village. Your tour ends with transfer back to your hotel.

Malay village remains. Tea/ Coffee with local delicacies will be served in a house in 

the Water Village. 

Proboscis Monkey's (Nasalis Larvatus) average life span is 13.5 years. The average weight of a male is between 16 

to 22 kg and the female is between 7 to 12 kg. All have obvious pot bellies. The female has smaller and more 

upturned nose.

The water taxi will take you through the famous Kampong Ayer before 

entering the mangrove forest with its unique adaptations and abundant 

wildlife. 

Long-tailed Macaque, Stork Billed Kingfisher, White Bellied Sea Eagles, 

Brahminy Kites and egrets etc. are some species of birds you are expected to 

see. 

Cruise leisurely through the mangrove in search of the Proboscis Monkey. You 

would be able to see a group of this monkey which had excited the curiosity of visitors to Borneo since colonial 

times.

This leisurely evening tour will take you through Bandar Seri Begawan to see the lighted landmarks of the city. Stop 

at an open market in Gadong to see the many colorful and varieties of fruits (depending on the fruiting season), 

vegetables and foods. 

See the many types of foods, some are being cooked or grilled on the spot. 

Proceed for dinner at a local restaurant. After the meal, we will do a brief stop at a shopping mall before your dropoff 

at the hotel. 



Water Village Tour

Seria Oilfield Day Tour

Duration: 6 hours – Full Day 

Meal: Lunch Included 


Proceed on a scenic drive along the highway to Seria 

Oil town. On the way, we will be passing through 

the small town of Tutong and a lot of scenic 

countryside sights of Brunei. One particular scene 

that you will notice is the abundance of white sand 

on each side of the highway after passing through 

Tutong town. The journey to oil town of Seria will 

take around two hours. Oil was discovered here in 

1929 and until today, you can still see the Nodding 

Donkey which signifies the inland oil Discovery in the 

olden days. We will pass through the petroleum 

refinery plant in Seria and visit the Billionth Barrel 

Monument at Seria Beach. Drive around the scenic 

Shell residential area before stopping at a local 

restaurant for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Oil & Gas Discovery Centre. This is an interactive science centre set up 

by Brunei Shell Petroleum to stimulate interests in the petroleum industry and also, to spur new explorations into 

science and technology. Drive back to Bandar Seri Begawan and before going back to your hotel, you will be taken 

on a day time tour of Jerudong Park area for photo stops. 

Temburong National Park Day Tour

Duration: 9 hours – Full Day (pick-up at 0730) 

Meal: Two coffee breaks & picnic lunch (menu chicken, vegetable & fish)

Entrance Fees 

Journey begins with an exciting river cruise from Bandar Seri 

Begawan to Bangar. Beginning the River Cruise takes us on the 

Brunei River passing through the famous Water Village known as 

the “Venice of the East” by early European. The ferry cuts 

through dense Mangrove Forest and Nipah Palm. 

Meet and greet by local guide at Bangar Jetty and transfer overland to Sumbiling Eco Village for Morning Tea. 

Sumbiling Eco Village is an Eco tourism project where local community of Temburong is involved especially those 

from Kampong Sumbiling Lama and Batang Duri. It is situated by a calm beautiful bank of Temburong River, 

surrounded by rainforest & local exotic fruit trees. Facilities available are traditional Iban huts, jungle herbs trail, 

camp site, modern clean toilets and changing rooms. Embark on a local Iban open motorized sampan called 




“Temuai” for an adventure boat ride to Ulu 

Temburong National Park. 

At the Park, register and join a guided jungle walk on 

plank walkway with more than 1200 steps to the 

Canopy Walkway. Along the way, please make plenty 

of stops to enjoy the environment. Drink lot of water 

to hydrate yourself. Before you knew it, you are 

already reached the base of the Canopy Walkway. 

Climb about 300 steps up for a bird eye view of 

Rainforest canopy. 

There after retreat back to Sumbiling Eco Village for 

lunch. Relax or take a dip by the Temburong River 

(subject to river condition) or participate in our 

activities. Nearing the end of our Eco-adventure, 

travel overland back to Bangar town, where a ferry will be waiting to bring you on an exciting river cruise back to 

Bandar Seri Begawan with fond memories of Temburong. Tour End 

Recommended to wear: Shorts, swimsuit cover with T-shirt during trekking, good pair of walking shoes with a good grip for 

walking on slippery river stone & jungle. 

Recommended to bring: Light rucksack, a change of clothes, sun lotion, hat, raincoat, camera, binoculars, toiletries, swimsuit 

& insect repellent - non aerosol type. Some snacks like energy bars e.g. mixed fruit bars, chocolate, sweets & drinks in case you 

get hungry and thirsty en route
