International Standards
These oils are 100% pure essential oils, that meet the criteria set down by recognised international authorities or fall
within our exacting specifications. For over 20 years, we have performed thorough analysis on essential oils in our
private laboratory. Our library database enables accurate verification that the identifying components of an oil are
not only present, but at the correct quantities for that oil to be considered genuine. In this way, you can be sure you
are receiving oil with a similar profile from order to order. Where specifications are set by international authorities,
we include the standard within the name of the product for example, The British Pharmacopoeia (B.P.). These
specifications may change from year to year, thus the date of the specification is also included. When the name of an
oil does not have a BP number, the most recent BP standard has been adhered to. In Australia the TGA requires
certain oils to meet these specifications. In certain cases, they demand that BP oils be used.
