Pure Essential Oils
Our Professional Range of Essential Oils are all of the highest purity and quality available. This is the range of essential oils recommended for
use by aromatherapists. Produced from a single batch of essential oils, they will vary from year to year in aroma, colour and viscosity due to
climatic conditions.
Essential oils contain the odourous principles of the plant material from which they are derived, and all useful parts of the plant may be utilised
in their production. Most essential oils are volatile and are obtained by a steam distillation process. Many citrus oils are expressed by a cold
pressed method and also contain natural pigments from the fruit.
Our range of essential oils have been meticulously analysed to ensure that they are 100% pure, natural, genuine and authentic. Essential oils
are used in aromatherapy, flavours, fine perfumery and for pharmaceuticals. If the oil you want is not listed, please contact us as we may be
able to supply from stock or obtain it for you.
Auroma also offers 1 kilo packs of our oils which are already packed off and ready to be shipped. As part of our parent company, abp
(Australian Botanical Products), who are World renown experts in this field, we can also accommodate bulk trade enquiries for most products
into the hundreds if not thousands of kilos.

International Standards
These oils are 100% pure essential oils, that meet the criteria set down by recognised international authorities or fall
within our exacting specifications. For over 20 years, we have performed thorough analysis on essential oils in our
private laboratory. Our library database enables accurate verification that the identifying components of an oil are
not only present, but at the correct quantities for that oil to be considered genuine. In this way, you can be sure you
are receiving oil with a similar profile from order to order. Where specifications are set by international authorities,
we include the standard within the name of the product for example, The British Pharmacopoeia (B.P.). These
specifications may change from year to year, thus the date of the specification is also included. When the name of an
oil does not have a BP number, the most recent BP standard has been adhered to. In Australia the TGA requires
certain oils to meet these specifications. In certain cases, they demand that BP oils be used.

Certified Organic Essential Oils
Organic products are becoming increasingly popular with consumers who are concerned
about the environment and the ingredients used in their personal care products. This
increase in popularity has led to an increased number of organic products becoming available with appropriate
certification.
The Certification is the most important part in knowing that your oil is truly organic.
Organic Certification means that the product has been produced in the most harmonious way to the planet – no
synthetic chemicals are used, crops are grown using the most ecologically sustainable methods possible to avoid
pests and weeds, and the products are GMO free. Along with this the long term effects on the environment and
wildlife is monitored and controlled with scientific measurements.
Organic Certification gives the consumer peace of mind that the product is assured to have been grown under all of
these conditions. In Australia the certifying body is the Biological Farmers Association (BFA) and the certification
given to approved products is Australian Certified Organic (ACO). Producers and manufacturers are given their own
Certification Number. Auroma’s parent company Australian Botanical Products Pty Ltd is a licensed processor of
Certified Organic materials.
There are many products in the market place that use the term “organic” for their products. We only use the term
where we hold the appropriate certification.
Various governing bodies around the world work in conjunction with the BFA to certify organic produce as ACO.
Where we have gained certified organic oil by organisations that are outside of the BFA, we advise customers of the
governing body (for example ECOCERT).
One of the greatest challenges to supply Certified Organic products is the consistency of supply. Organic products are
affected by climatic and environmental conditions, and are often grown in smaller crops. As the market grows and
more of the available farming land across the globe is dedicated to Certified Organic products, supply will improve,
until this time we ask for your understanding if there is a limitation of supply.

Fragrance
Fragrance Oils are suitable for many applications when a fragrance is the preferred choice to essential oils. In many
cases fragrances can be more suitable (both stable and cost effective) for fragrance in powders, sachets, pot pourri
etc. Our fragrances are highly concentrated so not for use directly on the skin.
In addition we also have a range of fragrance suited to candle and soap applications. It’s important to choose from
this range for candle and soap applications as they’ve been specifically made to ensure they perform well in hot
temperatures.

Additive Free Hair & Skincare
The Auroma Additive Free range of base products are:
• Made from natural and naturally derived plant materials

There is a base product to suit almost any beauty need. Simply add your preferred essential oils to any base product
in the additive free range to create personalised hair, body and skincare. We recommend a maximum dilution of 1%
or 2 drops of essential oil in 10mL of base product for adults for use on the face and 2.5% or 5 drops in 10mL for the
body. You should always prepare a small trial before using essential oils or fragrances in your base to determine any
changes that may have occur with the colour and/or consistency.
