questions and locate products. This commissary
is a showcase! It has immaculate floors; wellstocked,
fresh produce; cans neatly stacked;
meat counters spotless; quality frozen foods; and
dairy items constantly rotated with clear price
labels portraying a store taking extreme care in
a personalized setting, guaranteeing the utmost
quality for the fairest price. Even as a smaller
store, this provider of our daily sustenance
is a precious asset that both active-duty and
retired military folks appreciate. The cashiers
are meticulous, considerate and very patient; the
deli with Denise Joyce is a welcome asset and a
timesaver as well. Thank you all for your wonderful
efforts and friendship.

Fort Myer helpers
Though our daughter recently retired to take care of
my wife and me, she fractured an ankle, which placed
us in a caretaker role ourselves for four months. I
hobbled as best as I could to make trips to the Fort
Myer Commissary, Va. Barbara Madigan,
store secretary, helped me secure items I needed in
cases. Many other employees also helped me with my
shopping problems. Our commissary is staffed with
hardworking, helpful employees. Don’t change a thing
at our commissary.
