previously submitted within 60 calendar days of the
effective date of the revocation, (except for revocations
identified in §405.874(b)(2) and §424.535(f) (redesignated
as §424.535(g)) of this final rule).
Comment: One commenter stated that 30 days is simply
not enough time to wrap up all of the details of a
practice, in addition to the other circumstances associated
with a revocation of billing privileges.
Response: We are finalizing the provisions found at
§424.535(h) (proposed as §424.535(g)) that require a
revoked physician, NPP or a physician or NPP organization
to submit all outstanding claims not previously submitted
within 60 calendar days of the effective date of the
revocation,(except for revocations identified in
§405.874(b)(2) and §424.535(f) (redesignated as
§424.535(g))of this final rule).
After reviewing public comments, we are finalizing the
provisions found at §424.535(h) (proposed as §424.535(g))
that require a revoked physician, NPP or a physician or NPP
organization to submit all outstanding claims not
previously submitted within 60 calendar days of the
