The new HCPCS codes will be limited to the range of services included in the scope of deleted CPT codes previously approved for telehealth, with the descriptions modified to limit the use of such services for telehealth. Utilization of these codes will allow us to provide payment for follow-up inpatient telehealth consultations, as well as enable us to monitor whether the codes are used appropriately.
