1. Organisation
The International Event of the Year 2007 is organised by the MG Car Club Deutschland e.V. Venue is
Speyer, Germany, duration from 24 th to 28 th May.

2. General description
The event is intended as a sightseeing tour; it will take participants through the regions of the
Palatinate/Southern Wine Route, Odenwald/Bergstraße and Kraichgau/Neckar. Places of historic, cultural
and architectural interest will be visited, the route leading through the magnificent countryside of Southern
Germany. Participants are kindly asked to leave the starting area of the respective stage of the event
speedily. Drivers are responsible for adhering to the route specified.
The following rules and regulations apply:
– The rules and regulations of this submission;
– The Highway Code of the Federal Republic of Germany (Straßenverkehrsordnung StVO);
– The vehicle registration laws of the Federal Republic of Germany
(Straßenverkehrszulassungsordnung StVZO; applicable to vehicles registered in Germany).
For the duration of this event, all vehicles registered must comply with German vehicle registration laws
(StVZO). The assumed production year is the date of the first registration of the vehicle as stated in the
registration documents.
3. Controls
Progress is regularly monitored by means of controls, which are clearly identified by standardised signs.
These controls will be opened 15 minutes before the theoretical arrival of the first participant and closed
15 minutes after the theoretical arrival of the final participant, thus ensuring that participants adhere to the
prescribed route.
4. Eligibility
All MG cars are eligible regardless of production year. Participation with a red German “07” registration is
permissible. All drivers must be in the possession of a valid driving licence before they embark upon the
event.
5. Registration
The enclosed registration form is to be filled in correctly and sent to the given address; online registrations
on the website www.mgcc.de are also possible. The entry fee is to be transferred concurrently.
Registrations that have not been paid for simultaneously cannot be processed.
Registration deadline: February 28 th , 2007 (receipt of payment required by the organisers before
March 11 th) .
Forfeiture clause: In case of violation of the rules herein, the participant forfeits the entry fee.
6. Range of services
Registered participants are entitled to the following range of services:
- vehicle entry fee including all documents of the event
- lunch* and evening meal* on Friday
- lunch*, wine-tasting and festive evening with dinner* and live music on Saturday
- lunch* and evening meal* on Sunday
- a trophy for the gymkhana and concours d’élégance winners, several gifts
- free admission to the Speyer ”Technik-Museum“ (including repeated entry)
- a reduced IMAX cinema voucher per participant
- a guided tour of the city of Speyer and the monastery of Maulbronn
* Drinks not included.

7. Preliminary Agenda
Wednesday, 23rd May 2007
First arrivals from 16.00 hrs. After registering, participants will receive the documents of the event. The
hotel at the Speyer Museum provides evening meals if required.
Thursday, 24th May 2006
Optional outing to Heidelberg via the Odenwald (distance: ca. 160 kms). Participants of the run around
the Hockenheimring, please take a short cut! In the evening, there will be a get-together at the Festival
Hall with an à la carte evening meal. Registration of further participants, exchange of documents.
Hockenheimring run, 16.00 to 18.00 hrs (separate registration required).
Friday, 25th May 2007
Baden-Württemberg tour (distance: ca. 170 kms), visit to Maulbronn Monastery including guided tour and
lunch. get-together at the Festival Hall in the evening with address of welcome, presentation of
organisation team, and buffet evening meal.
Saturday, 26th May 2006
Participants are free to take part in the gymkhana on the museum premises, a guided tour of Speyer, to
visit the Museum, IMAX cinema, or SeaLife aquarium, or simply take a stroll through the city. Lunch at a
restaurant on Cathedral Square, festive evening meal (buffet) with address by the Mayor of Speyer and
dance band.
Sunday, 27th May 2006
Palatinate tour. Departure: Speyer. Tour of Southern Wine Route and Palatinate Forest areas (distance:
ca. 150 kms). Lunch en route; Evening meal at the Festival Hall, presentation of awards to gymkhana and
concours winners respectively.
Monday, 28th May 2006
Final reception at Festival Hall. Optional tours. Departure.
8. Exclusion of Liability
Please see registration forms for details.
9. Insurance
A policy has been taken out by the organisers of the event in compliance with the requirements of the
authorities.
10. Alterations
The organisers reserve the right to amend or alter details of this submission as required.
11. Environmental protection
The participants are obliged to prevent pollution; traces of contamination, i.e. oil leaks onto parking spaces
etc., are to be removed by the participants.
12. Obligations of the participant
The start is to take place in the starting area; starting order is irrespective of the starting number. The start
is to be conducted efficient. The organisers will hand over a rally plate with the documents of the event;
this is to be attached to the front of the car and must be clearly visible; it must not obscure the vehicle
registration plate.
13. Results and Prizes
Gymkhana results are penalty-based; participants are placed in ascending order of penalties: the team
with fewest penalties wins. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. In the event of a tie, the older
car will be allocated a higher position. The following categories are designated:
– Class 1: Pre-war cars, TC – Class 2: TD to TF, Y-Type
– Class 3: MGA, Z-Magnette – Class 4: MGB/C, Midget, FWD
– Class 5: RV8, MGF/TF, ZR/ZS/ZT
The results of the concours d´ élégance are determined by the participants’ vote. The vehicle that has
received most votes wins. Prizes will be presented to the top three cars.

Entry fee
The entry fee has to be payed together with sending the entry form. It must be credited to the
bank account no. 63353008 at the Volksbank Sulmtal eG (bank code 620 619 91).

Entries without receipt of payment will not be processed. Payments and electronic payment
transactions within the EU have to dispose the payment form EU standard payment. IBAN*) and BIC*)
for the payee is a mandatory instruction**). The payer has to bear all the bank charges.
By european law payment from GB to Euro countries must not be more expensive then within a
country. The EEC regulation is 99/43. Please remind your bank.
The entry fee is a forfeit money. The entry fee is only paid back by the organizers in case:
a) the event is cancelled b) or the entry is not accepted.
In established cases of hardship latest 10 days for the beginning of the event the entry fee (only the
costs of the meals) will be returned. The organizer reserves the right of not accepting an application
without any reasons. Arranging/booking of accommodation is the participants responsibility.
I agree with the following participation requirements:
Exclusion of liability
The organizer shall not accept any liability towards the participants – applicants, drivers, co-drivers
and other accompanying persons – for personal injury, property damage and/or economic loss.
By submission of their applications, the participants waive, for themselves and for their dependants,
without recourse to law, and for any accident and/or damage in connection with the event, all rights of
action or recourse against the organizer and his representatives and helpers, against drivers and codrivers
of other vehicles taking part, or any other persons connected with the organization of the event.
The participants furthermore waive, for themselves and their dependants, their right to bring actions
before the ordinary courts. The participants take part in this event at their own risk and shall bear
responsibility under civil law and under criminal law for anyidamage caused by themselves or by their
vehicles. However, the organizer shall not accept any liability. The organizer shall take out third-party
insurance for event organization.
Participants are not entitled to road service or, if necessary, transport of a defective or damaged
vehicle. Transport res-ponsibility, including loading/unloading of a defective vehicle lies with the owner,
even if instructed by an authorised person.
Confirmation of entry
Participation is binding only after the entry fee has been paid into the above account and has been
confirmed by the promoter. Refund of the entry fee is only possible if the entry is rejected by the
promoter. Program changes are at the discretion of the promoter.
General
The organizer reserves the right to cancel the event for compelling reasons. Force majeure shall
exempt the organizer from meeting his obligations.
The announcement is part of said event. Additional regulations or instructions by the executive could
override the regulations laid down in the announcement.

*) WHY AN INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNT NUMBER?
Payment transfer procedures within the EU need to be speeded up and made more efficient. The
European Committee for Banking Standards (ECBS) has therefore developed a uniform, standardized
system for numbering bank accounts, which it has urged European financial institutions to adopt. This
is called the IBAN, the international bank account number. From January 2006 the IBAN (International
Bank Account Number) and the SWIFT Code (BIC) will be mandatory for payments in EU and EEA
countries. Orders without these details will be executed but may be rejected by the receiving bank.
This may cost additional charges. The IBAN can be used for both paper-based and electronic orders.
**) HOW MUCH DOES A BASIC CROSS BORDER CREDIT TRANSFER COST?
By european law payment from GB to Euro countries must not be more expensive then within a
country. The EEC regulation is 99/43.

complete and correct. If your payment contains instructions which go beyond this, it will be effected
like an international payment and priced accordingly.
