Geboren 1959 in Ungarn, arbeitet in den<br />

der International Academy for Media Arts<br />
and Sciences (IAMAS) in Gifu, Japan. Seine<br />
Arbeiten befinden sich in verschiedenen<br />
Sammlungen, darunter im Centre Georges<br />
Pompidou, Paris, der Oppenheimer<br />
Collection, Bonn und der Scan Video<br />

Tamás Waliczky<br />
Born in Hungary in 1959, Tamás Waliczky<br />
is an animator, painter and computer<br />
animator. He has been working with<br />
computers since 1983. He was artist-inresidence<br />
at the ZKM Institute for Visual<br />
Media in 1992, and subsequently joined the<br />
Institute’s research staff (1993-97) until<br />
taking up a guest professorship at the HBK<br />
Saar, Saarbrucken (1997 onward). He was<br />
artist-in-residence at the International<br />
Academy for Media Arts and Sciences<br />
(IAMAS) in Gifu, Japan, in 1998/99. His<br />
works are in various public collections,<br />
among them: Centre Georges Pompidou,<br />
Paris; Oppenheimer Collection, Bonn;<br />
Scan Video Gallery, Tokyo.<br />
