In 1978 all we had was an idea, the
determination to make it a reality and
the knowledge gained from a recently
acquired Tonmeister diploma. Today, thirty
years later, MDG is a label which stands
for the highest quality and expertise in the

prices within the shortest possible time.
We concentrate upon carefully selected
repertoire in inspired interpretations and
with the meticulous attention to detail

philosophy is the provision of authoritative
textual commentaries and a production
quality which represents recorded sound
at its best: Our CDs receive personal,
in-house attention form the initial planning
stages through to the finished product.
The new media of SACD and DVD-Audio
now inaugurate a new era of music
reproduction in substantially improved
sound quality. On page 180 we inform
you about our way to natural three-dimensional
music reproduction.

Tonmeister-Diploms. Heute, 30 Jahre
später, gilt MDG international als Zeichen
für höchste Qualität und Kompetenz
im Bereich der klassischen Musik.
Unser Ziel war es nie, in möglichst
kurzer Zeit ein Maximum an Repertoire
preiswert anzubieten. Es werden immer
ausgesuchte Werke in inspirierter
Interpretation und mit höchster Sorgfalt
hergestellt, die jede CD–Sammlung
bereichern. Wesentlicher Bestandteil
der MDG–Veröffentlichungen sind die
Verpflichtung zu umfangreicher Textdokumentation

Klang der Einspielungen: Aufnahmen,
die von der Idee bis zum fertigen
Produkt in unserem Hause persönlich
betreut werden.

neue Medien zur Verfügung, die ein
neues Zeitalter der Musikwiedergabe
in wesentlich verbesserter Tonwiedergabe
