• National museum<br />
• Nisa – located 15 km West of the Ashgabat it is remains of the<br />
ancient town, mentioned by antique and medieval authors as<br />
Parthaunisa, which existed since 3 rd century B.C. Nisa was the<br />
residence of the Parthian Kings where the palaces and temples,<br />
depositories and the treasury were located. Natural height was<br />
used by ancient architectures to turn Nisa into powerful fortress,<br />
pentagonal in plan and with an area of 14 hektars.<br />
• Carpet museum Carpet museum – where is the second biggest<br />
hand woven carpet of the world. The biggest carpet of the world is in<br />
one of the Niyazov’s palaces.<br />
• Annau site another Turkmenistan’s vanished city. By the 15 c it was a fortified town famous<br />
for its mosques, the size and beauty.<br />
Dinner in national café with folklore show.<br />
3 day. Ashgabat - Dashouz - Kunya Urgench – Urgench (Khiva)<br />
Breakfast. Transfer to airport. Flight to Dashouz. Arrival. Transfer to Kunya Urgench. SS including:<br />
• Mausoleum of Fakhr-At-Din – Built in 12-13 centuries, it is small, almost square erection crowned<br />
with the 12 sided marquee. Th emausoleum is connected with the name of scientist<br />
Fakhr-ad-din.<br />
