danke thanks
die Beiträge für diese Ausgabe führten die Autoren nach
Israel, in Hörsäle, durch Labore, Archive und Kellergänge,
unters Dach, durch Heiz- und Lüftungszentralen, zum neuen
Blockheizkraftwerk sowie in das Studio von Olafur Eliasson.
Die Rubrik „Im Fokus“ führte mich in eine Sporthalle zu den
Bogenschützen des TSV Lindenberg. In der Ruhe liegt die
Kraft, galt dort genauso wie bei der Produktion dieser für
mich letzten Ausgabe des imdc.
Als ich im November 2010 ans MDC kam, hieß es Ärmel
hochkrempeln, ein Konzept für ein neues Mitarbeitermagazin
entwickeln, einen Gestaltwettbewerb organisieren.
Ziel war, ein internes Kommunikationsmittel mit großer
externer Wirkung zu schaffen. Im Juni 2011 hielten Sie,
liebe Leserinnen und Leser, das erste imdc in Ihren Händen.
Die Resonanz auf diese neue Identifikationsplattform war
für mich überwältigend.
Jetzt, genau ein Jahr später, heißt es Abschied nehmen,
weil dies mein letztes Magazin für das MDC sein wird. Ein
guter Grund, mich bei all jenen zu bedanken, die die ersten
drei Ausgaben des imdc auf der Basis von Authentizität,
Offenheit, Mut, Neugierde und Vertrauen begleitet und
ermöglicht haben.

Dear Readers,
This 3rd edition of the imdc lead the authors to Israel, to
lecture halls, laboratories, archives, cellar hallways, rooftops,
through heating and ventilation control centers, power plants,
as well as to the studio of Olafur Eliasson. The section “In
Focus” lead me to a sports hall and to the archery club “TSV
Lindenberg”. “Serenity is the source of strength” a favorite
German saying, applies not only to archery but also to the
production of this magazine.
On my first day at the MDC in November 2010, I sat down
at my new desk, rolled up my sleeves and started to develop
a concept for a new employee magazine. The goal was to
create an internal communication medium that also has a
significant external impact. The result came in June 2011 with
the imdc01- the publication of the very first imdc. The huge
positive response I received was overwhelming.
Now, exactly one year after the first imdc appeared, I say
goodbye to you as this will be my last magazine for the MDC. I
want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed
to the production of the first three imdc editions and for
their authenticity, openness, courage, curiosity, and trust.
