Dear Dr. Luser,
I am doing my thesis in the MDC right now. My Prof.
from the University urgently asks if anyone can donate
HeLa cells for the Cell-culture teaching-lab in the
uni. So if anyone can help out with a flask of some
cells or a frozen aliquot to raise new scientists, please
contact me :-)

Dear LL,
Raising new scientists is indeed a challenge. It‘s best
done in a cheerful family environment with lots of
objects to stimulate the senses: toys, books, a pipette,
maybe a Waters Acquity UPLC/Synapt G2 QTOF mass
spectrometer... As far as I know it has never been tried
in a flask or a frozen aliquot. If you get authorization
from the ethics committee to try, please let me know
how things turn out.
