authors (Laurens van der Post, Martin Luther King, Bertrand Russell, G.
Baraclough, T. S. Eliot, Owen Barfield and others) on various aspects
of life today. These can provide a basis for comparison or form a background
for use with passages from current publications, cuttings from
newspapers etc. and can become a real student's workbook. There are no
word explanations, as students have by now learnt how to use a dictionary.
