Yolunda ist türkisch und bedeutet "auf dem Weg sein". Das ist zum einen bezeichnend für unser Konzept, da wir uns immer

wieder auf dem Weg machen um schöne Dinge zu entdecken, die wir in unserem Shop anbieten. Andererseits steht der

Name auch für das Hauptprodukt unserer Marke: das Hamamtuch, das ideal für unterwegs ist, da es so vielfältig ist, im

Gepäck wenig Platz einnimmt und sehr leicht ist.

Gründungsgeschichte

Yolunda wurde 2013 von mir - Dörte Boesche - gegründet. Als gelernte Architektin weiß ich Design, durchdachte Details und

gute Verarbeitung zu schätzen. Durch zahlreiche Reisen in die Türkei - das Heimatland meines Partners - entdeckte ich die

Hamamtücher und hatte den Wunsch, die bunten, vielseitigen Tücher mit nach Deutschland zu bringen. Durch den guten

Kontakt in die Türkei fanden wir schnell ein passendes, fair interagierendes Familienunternehmen und so gab es 2013 die

ersten Hamamtüchern von Yolunda in Deutschland. 2017 wurde das Sortiment auf Bio-Baumwolle umgestellt.

Hamamtuch

Es ist nicht nur praktisch als Saunatuch, im Spa oder beim Sport, unterwegs ist es vor allem ideal als Strandtuch, Picknicktuch,

Babydecke aber auch als Pareo oder Schal. Und – last but not least – kann man das Hamamtuch einfach wunderbar als

Bade-, Dusch- und Handtuch nutzen.

Nachhaltigkeit

Die Hamamtücher und Decken lassen wir nach eigenen Entwürfen in der Türkei aus Bio-Baumwolle weben. Wir haben den

Anspruch, dass unsere Produkte möglichst vielfältig einsetzbar sind – denn das bedeutet, dass wir weniger Dinge brauchen

und die Ressourcen der Erde noch besser schützen.

Yolunda is Turkish and means "to be on the way". On the one hand, this is characteristic for our concept, as we are always on

our way to discover beautiful things that we offer in our shop. On the other hand, the name also stands for the main product

of our brand: the hamam towel, which is ideal for travelling because it is so versatile, takes up little space in the luggage and

is very light.

Founding story

Yolunda was founded in 2013 by me - Dörte Boesche. As a studied architect, I know how to appreciate design, thoughtful

details and and good workmanship. Through numerous trips to Turkey - the home country of my partner - I discovered the

hamam towels and wanted to bring the colourful, versatile cloths to Germany. Thanks to the good contact in Turkey, we

quickly found a suitable, fairly interacting family business, and so in 2013 we had the first hamam towels from Yolunda in

Germany. In 2017, the range was switched to organic cotton.

Hamam towel

It is not only practical as a sauna towel, in the spa or during sports, on the go it is ideal as a beach towel, picnic towel, baby

blanket but also as a pareo or scarf. Last but not least - the hamam towel can be used as a wonderful towel.

Sustainability

The hammam towels and blankets are woven in Turkey from organic cotton according to our own designs. We have made the

products as versatile as possible - because that means we need fewer and protect the earth's resources even better.

Das Hamamtuch "Defne" besticht durch das geometrische Ornament, das an Sterne

oder Blüten erinnert und über die Länge des Tuches immer reduzierter wird. Durch die

Webart ist das Muster auf einer Seite positiv und auf der anderen Seite negativ dargestellt.

The "Defne" hamam towel captivates with its geometric ornamentation, reminiscent of

stars or blossoms, which becomes increasingly reduced over the length of the towel.

Due to the weave, the pattern is positive on one side and negative on the other.

Bei dem Hamamtuch Kestane haben wir das beliebte Rautenmuster weiterentwickelt und

daraus ist das Rautenmuster 2.0 entstanden.

Das Hamamtuch ist in Köperbindung gewebt und dadurch besonders strapazierfähig.

With the Kestane hamam towel, we have further developed the popular diamond pattern,

resulting in the diamond pattern 2.0.

The hammam towel is woven in a twill weave and is therefore particularly hard-wearing.

Bei dem Hamamtuch Dalya sind die farbigen Streifen in einer Wabenstruktur gewebt und heben

sich damit nicht nur farblich von den glatt gewebten Streifen in ungebleichter Baumwolle ab.

Dieses Tuch hat eine luxuriöse Größe von 100 x 200cm.

The coloured stripes of the Dalya hamam towel are woven in a honeycomb structure and

thus not only stand out in colour from the smoothly woven stripes in unbleached cotton.

This towel has a luxurious size of 100 x 200cm.

Mit ihrem schönen Rautenmuster lässt sich die Decke „Kestane“ gut als Tagesdecke oder leichte

Sofadecke benutzen. Natürlich kann man sie auch genauso als großes Strandtuch oder Picknickdecke

verwenden. Durch die Webart ist das Muster auf der einen Seite positiv und auf der anderen Seite

negativ dargestellt, so dass man wahlweise die dunklere oder hellere Seite nach oben legen kann.
