Saul Judd, freier Kurator und
Programmgestalter, ist seit 2010 verantwortlich
für die Videokunst-Sektion
beim „LICHTER Filmfest Frankfurt
International“. Weitere Projekte sind
BLANK SLATE, eine Publikation über
Kunst, Architektur und Design, und
seit Januar 2016 SCHAUT! - eine
Ausstellungsreihe im MAL SEH’N Kino,
Frankfurt. Als Gastkurator der Filmreihe
Double Feature an der Schirn Kunsthalle
präsentierte er 2017 den Künstler John
Skoog. Im Jahr 2022 wurden die von
ihm kuratierten 10. und 12. LICHTER Art
Award Ausstellungen im Künstlerhaus
basis e.V., Frankfurt am Main, gezeigt.
Philipp Aubel ist seit zehn Jahren
Mitglied des QUEER Filmfest
Weiterstadt. Dort ist er ehrenamtlich
u.a. für das Programming zuständig. Im
Hauptamt betreut er als Projektleitung
den Arbeitsbereich Junge Filmszene
im BJF, pflegt das Info-Netzwerk und
bereitet die 59. Werkstatt der Jungen
Filmszene vor. Darüber hinaus ist er im
Vorstand von „QueerScope - Verband
der unabhängigen queeren Filmfestivals
in Deutschland e.V. “.
Philipp Aubel has been a member of
“QUEER Filmfest Weiterstadt” for ten
years, where he is responsible on a voluntary
basis for programming, among
other areas. He is primarily employed
as a project director in charge of the
working area “Young Film Scene” within
the BJF (The German Federation of Film
Clubs for Children and Young People),
where he maintains the informational
network and is currently preparing
the 59th edition of the “Werkstatt
der Jungen Filmszene” workshop. In
addition, he is a member of the board
of directors for “QueerScope - Union
of Independent Queer Film Festivals in
Germany”.
Saul Judd is an independent curator
based in Frankfurt, Germany. Since
2010, he has been responsible for the
video art section of the “LICHTER Filmfest
Frankfurt International”. His projects
include BLANK SLATE, a publication
about art, architecture and design, and
in 2016 he started SCHAUT! - a series
of exhibitions of contemporary art film
and video art at the MAL SEH’N cinema
in Frankfurt. In 2017, he presented the
artist John Skoog as a guest curator for
Double Feature at Schirn Kunsthalle. In
2022, the 10th and 12th LICHTER Art
Award exhibitions, which he curated,
were shown at the “Künstlerhaus basis
e.V.”, Frankfurt am Main.
Garegin Vanisian, 1987 in der Russischen
SFSR geboren, studierter Jurist,
ist Filmemacher, Autor, Filmprogrammgestalter
und Publizist. Mitbegründer
des seit 2013 aktiven „Filmkollektiv
Frankfurt – Projektionsraum für
unterrepräsentierte Filmkultur e.V.“,
Herausgeber u.a. der weltweit ersten
Publikation über den slowenischen
Regisseur Karpo Godina und einer
Publikation über Miklós Jancsó. Er
dreht seit 2008 Filme und lebt zwischen
Frankfurt am Main und Berlin.
Garegin Vanisian, born in 1987 in the
Russian SFSR, studied law and is a
filmmaker, author, film programmer and
writer. He is co-founder of the “Filmkollektiv
Frankfurt - Projektionsraum
für unterrepräsentierte Filmkultur e.V.”,
active since 2013, and an editor of
publications on filmmakers such as the
Slovenian director Karpo Godina and
Hungarian filmmaker Miklós Jancsó. He
has been making films since 2008 and
