Katja Čičigoj ist Universitätsassistentin
am Institut für Philosophie der Universität
Klagenfurt/Celovec und promoviert
in feministischer Philosophie an der
Universität Paderborn. Sie übersetzte
Shulamith Firestones The Dialectic of
Sex ins Slowenische (2019) und gab das
Buch Feminist Futures. The Radical
Utopianism of Shulamith Firestone
(2023, auf Slowenisch) heraus. Katja hat
zudem als Film- und Theaterkritikerin
und -theoretikerin gearbeitet und drei
Ausgaben des „Festival of Slovenian
Film“ mitprogrammiert.
Anamarija Horvat ist Dozentin und
Forscherin in Medienwissenschaften
an der Northumbria University. Sie
hat viele Publikationen der Film- und
Fernsehwissenschaft veröffentlicht,
wobei sich ihre Arbeit besonders auf die
Darstellung von Geschlecht und Sexualität
auf der Leinwand konzentriert. Ihre
Monografie Screening Queer Memory:
LGBTQ Pasts in Contemporary Film
and Television (Bloomsbury, 2021)
ist das erste akademische Buch, das
untersucht, wie die LGBTQ-Erinnerung
durch Film und Fernsehen geformt wird.

Tea Hvala studierte vergleichende
Literaturwissenschaft, Kultursoziologie
und Gender-Anthropologie. Sie ist
Schriftstellerin, Redakteurin und
Übersetzerin. Sie schreibt über feministische
Theorie, Aktivismus und Kunst
und übersetzt wissenschaftliche und
literarische Texte. In der Vergangenheit
war sie Mitorganisatorin der Festivals
„Rdeče zore“ und „Deuje babe“. Sie ist
(Mit-)Autorin mehrerer Magazine, Unterrichtsmaterialien
und des Kinderbuchs
Skrivna bolnišnica (Secret Hospital,
2017, mit Špela Oberstar). Derzeit
ko-kuratiert sie einer Ausstellung über
die sexuellen und reproduktiven Rechte
von Frauen. Sie lebt und arbeitet in
Cerkno, Slowenien.
Katja Čičigoj is a university assistant at
the Institute of Philosophy, University of
Klagenfurt/Celovec, and is completing
her PhD in feminist philosophy at
Paderborn University. She translated
Shulamith Firestone’s The Dialectic of
Sex into Slovene (2019) and edited the
volume Feminist Futures. The Radical
Utopianism of Shulamith Firestone
(2023, in Slovene). Katja has also
worked as a film and theatre critic and
theoretician and has co-programmed
three editions of the Slovene Film
Festival.

Anamarija Horvat is a lecturer and
researcher in media studies at
Northumbria University. She has published
widely on topics related to cinema
and television studies, and her work is
especially focused on representations
of gender and sexuality onscreen. Her
monograph Screening Queer Memory:
LGBTQ Pasts in Contemporary Film
and Television (Bloomsbury, 2021) is
the first academic book to examine
how LGBTQ memory is shaped through
film and television, and her other
work has appeared in journals such
as Feminist Media Studies, Critical
Studies in Television and Transnational
Screens, and in venues like The Oxford
Encyclopaedia of Queer Studies and
Communication.

Tea Hvala studied comparative literature,
sociology of culture and gender
anthropology. She is a writer, editor and
translator. She writes about feminist
theory, activism and art, and translates
academic and literary texts. In the past,
she co-organised the festivals “Rdeče
zore” and “Deuje babe”. She is the
(co-)author of several zines, teaching
materials and the children’s book
Skrivna bolnišnica (Secret Hospital,
2017, with Špela Oberstar). Currently,
she is co-curating an exhibition on
women’s sexual and reproductive rights.
She lives and works in Cerkno, Slovenia.
