Im Jahr 2022 starteten die Yugoretten auf Initiative
von Jasmina Musić und Mateja Meded als Plattform
für die Vernetzung filmschaffender Frauen aus den
Ländern des ehemaligen Jugoslawiens. In diesem
Jahr knüpft das Kurator:innentrio Borjana Gaković,
Mateja Meded und Boris Hadžija an den Community-
Gedanken an und hat mit einem dreiteiligen
Filmprogramm mit alten und neuen, kurzen und langen
Filmen, Paneldiskussionen und Talks sowie internen
und öffentlichen Austauschrunden ein Programm
zusammengestellt, das konkrete Schwerpunkte setzt.
Filmische Repräsentationen von Frauen und queerer
Kultur stehen dabei im Vordergrund. Das Programm
richtet sich explizit an ein breites Publikum und bringt
die Vielfalt des filmisches Schaffens aus der Region
sowie eine Vielzahl spannender, junger wie etablierter
Gäste bei goEast in Wiesbaden zusammen.
In 2022, the Yugoretten started as an initiative by
Jasmina Musić and Mateja Meded, offering a forum for
networking of women in film, who have their roots in
countries of former Yugoslavia. This year, the curatorial
trio of Borjana Gaković, Mateja Meded and Boris Hadžija
continue the idea of community. Putting together a
three-part film program with old and new films, short
and feature films, panel discussions and talks as
well as closed and public round tables, they focused
on defined topics. The representation of women and
queer culture film are the most important issues. The
program explicitly addresses a wide public and mixes
the richness of filmmaking from the region with many
exciting, young as well as renowned guests, here at
goEast in Wiesbaden.
