Seatrade Cruise Global returns to Miami<br />
Seatrade Cruise Global will return to Miami from 8 to 11 April <strong>2024</strong>, providing a backdrop<br />
for the cruise industry to explore different areas of the business – from port and destination<br />
developments to sustainability advancements to cost control strategies<br />
First held in New York in 1985 and<br />
1986, Seatrade Cruise Global has<br />
been hosted in Miami during 32 years, at<br />
venues including the InterContinental<br />
Hotel, the Fontainebleau Miami Beach<br />
and the Miami Beach Convention<br />
Center. The »the largest annual cruise<br />
industry gathering« moved to Fort Lauderdale<br />
when the Miami Beach Convention<br />
Center was closed for renovations<br />
and in 2023 when the show dates overlapped<br />
with the Formula 1 Grand Prix.<br />
»Miami has long been synonymous with<br />
Seatrade Cruise Global and a great host<br />
for the largest annual cruise industry<br />
gathering, along with being a vital<br />
partner as the cruise capital of the<br />
world«, said Kelly Craighead, president<br />
and CEO of Cruise Lines International<br />
Association. »We look forward to reuniting<br />
in Miami in <strong>2024</strong>.«<br />
The organizers expect more than<br />
10.000 attendess to come to the Miami<br />
Beach Convention Center for the the<br />
four-day conference and three-day trade<br />
show. The conference will feature more<br />
than 600 exhibitors from over 120 countries.<br />
More than 80 cruise line brands will<br />
be present.<br />

Topics in <strong>2024</strong> include AI and technology<br />
innovations, attracting the »new to<br />
cruise« segment, decarbonization, entertainment<br />
strategies, expedition cruising,<br />
geopolitical issues and the impact on<br />
cruising, luxury cruising, port and destination<br />
developments, river cruising, sustainability<br />
and regulation and more.<br />

programme designed for cruise<br />
HR, training, and recruitment professionals.<br />
Professors and students from<br />
universities, colleges, and training institutions<br />
specialising in cruise courses<br />
will also find a welcoming space to explore<br />

• The Retail Day: As retailing continues<br />
to drive revenues for cruise lines and<br />
assumes an increasingly pivotal role in<br />
enhancing the guest experience, Seatrade<br />
Cruise Global, is partnering with<br />
leading travel retail business intelligence<br />

to host a day dedicated to onboard<br />
