What is Homecare?<br />
Homecare complements specialist nursing care, wheather from district nursing, wheather one is in ones individual<br />
home or in a care facility.<br />
This service includes training in the individual products and delivery of the medical supplies that are explanatory.<br />
For example medical nutrition, ostomy or wound care.<br />
The aim is to offer people maximum comfort and quality of life by having the Homecare Manager bring professional<br />
support, advice and the necessary medical aids directly to their home or ensure that they are delivered.<br />
The Homecare manager establishes, through networking, communication to all people and institutions involved in<br />
the patients care and use of the specific medical aids. Even if this includes the transfer from inpatient to outpatient<br />
care and comuncation with the health insurance comanies, privat or not.<br />
These services should always be seen as complementary to nursing or social services and should not be confused<br />
with outpatient nursingcare or nursingcare in a care facility.<br />
