A fascinating program draws nature lovers, active
holidaymakers and families alike to this idyllic
landscape, whose beauty in the coldest time
of year is beyond compare. Led by knowledgeable
National Park Rangers, explorers set out on winter
hikes and snowshoeing expeditions. National Park
Hohe Tauern also promises ski tourers quite a treat:
The tranquility of the mountains invites you to
relax in the crisp, clear air and listen to the murmurs
of nature. Along the way, you will ascend through
alpine terrain and ultimately be rewarded
by breathtaking panoramic views as well as a beautiful
downhill run through névé or deep snow.
TIP: Visit the Hohe Tauern National Park Worlds
in Mittersill until 07.01.2024. After that, they will
be renovated for you and open in May 2024 with
