The student shall get a principal understanding of the challenges and duties for modern management and of the requirements for a successful leadership and corporate culture. 2. The student will learn how to create a corporate culture with frame conditions which ensure a high level motivation, performance and innovation. 3. The student will be able to develop a business case where he/she takes over the management of a midsized company and will develop a concept how to deal with the challenges he/she is facing. International Workshop 2. Semester SEM — Module und Vorlesungen Modul General Management 2 SEM 2 Seminar 4 PL 4 ECTS Prof. Dr.-Ing. Federle Lernziele 1. Die Studierenden erkennen durch aktive Teilnahme an dem internationalen Workshop mit Studierenden aus 5 - 7 Ländern unterschiedliche Arten von Lernen und Arbeitsverhalten. Die Teamarbeit soll bewirken, dass die Studierenden andere Vorgehensweisen bei Problemlösungen verstehen und respektieren. 2. Die Studierenden erkennen durch die Vielfalt internationaler Vorträge und Seminare die Bedeutung der Kultur auf das Management von Unternehmen. In kleinen international zusammengesetzten Projektteams muss ein landesspezifisches Produkt- und Markproblem bearbeitet werden. Hier lernen die Studierenden Teamfähigkeit und Führungseigenschaften in der Praxis. 3. Die Studierenden werden in einem Projekt konfrontiert mit Teilnehmern aus unterschiedlichen Kulturen und versuchen über Kommunikation Barrieren abzubauen, um ihr Ziel zu erreichen. Contents 1.
