5% of people in Germany develop colon cancer – but in most cases this initially<br />
occurs without symptoms. Unfortunately, too few undertake medically recommended<br />
preventive care. That’s why since March the medical platform easytest has been<br />
offering a preventive test kit to use at home.<br />
Easytest home tests bring the same standard<br />
digitally that general practitioners and gastroenterologists<br />
use for preventive examinations.<br />
Testing takes place at home using<br />
certified sampling materials. The process is<br />
now even easier for patients, as the test can<br />
be ordered directly at home. With the help of<br />
understandable instructions, the patient takes<br />
the sample and sends it back to the partner<br />
laboratory in a prepaid return envelope. The<br />
testing method and laboratory analysis are<br />
identical to the tests carried out by doctors.<br />
Only accredited laboratories with many years<br />
of experience are accepted as partners.<br />
With the vision of solving the problem of<br />
medical undersupply in everyday health, Nico<br />
Hribernik and Dr. Manuel Nothelfer founded<br />
the Wellster Healthtech Group (formerly<br />
Direct Health Service) in Munich in 2018. Since<br />

Dr. Sven Jungmann, member of the medical<br />
advisory board of Wellster and easytest, said:<br />
“Many people have difficulties with preventive<br />
examinations, often because they feel in top<br />
shape and have no symptoms. Nonetheless,<br />
based on years of medical research, it is recommended<br />
to take this screening test, especially<br />
if you are at risk or over 50 years old. It<br />
is important that people have easy access to<br />
