Sehr geehrte Besucherinnen<br />

und Besucher,<br />

herzlich willkommen zur <strong>InnoTrans</strong> <strong>2022</strong>.<br />

Nachdem die <strong>InnoTrans</strong> Corona-bedingt<br />

pausieren musste, treffen sich vom 20. bis<br />

23. September im <strong>Berlin</strong>er ExpoCenter City<br />

nun wie<strong>der</strong> die führenden Vertreterinnen und<br />

Vertreter <strong>der</strong> Bahnbranche.<br />

Als bedeutende Leitmesse für Schienenverkehrstechnik<br />

und wichtiges internationales<br />

Sch<strong>auf</strong>enster <strong>der</strong> Bahntechnologie wartet<br />

die <strong>InnoTrans</strong> mit einem spannenden Konferenzprogramm<br />

<strong>auf</strong>. Zukunftsthemen wie<br />

Nachhaltigkeit und Digitalisierung des Bahnsektors<br />

bilden die Schwerpunkte des Programms.<br />

Daneben stehen auch an<strong>der</strong>e aktuelle<br />

Entwicklungen im Bahnsektor im Fokus.<br />

Dazu gehören Leitthemen <strong>der</strong> Verkehrswende<br />

wie das European Train Control System<br />

(ETCS), elektronische Stellwerke, die Digitale<br />

Automatische Kupplung und weitere technologische<br />

Innovationen, welche die Grundlage<br />

für eine Fülle neuer Anwendungen und<br />

Dienste bilden. Diese wirken sich sowohl<br />

effizienzsteigernd und ressourcenschonend<br />

<strong>auf</strong> betriebliche Prozesse aus und schaffen<br />

zugleich mehr Komfort und Sicherheit für die<br />

Kundinnen und Kunden im Personen- und<br />

Güterverkehr.<br />

Die Schiene gewinnt zunehmend an Bedeutung<br />

für den klima- und umweltfreundlichen<br />

Verkehr. Für umfangreiche Investitionen zur<br />

Verbesserung <strong>der</strong> Infrastruktur, <strong>der</strong> Betriebsqualität<br />

und <strong>der</strong> Akzeptanz <strong>der</strong> Bahn wurden<br />

politische Weichen gestellt. Die Umsetzung<br />

<strong>der</strong> anspruchsvollen Konzepte und Projekte<br />

erfor<strong>der</strong>t leistungsfähige Unternehmen <strong>der</strong><br />

Schienenverkehrstechnik. Diese Leistungsfähigkeit<br />

wird <strong>auf</strong> <strong>der</strong> <strong>InnoTrans</strong> eindrucksvoll<br />

demonstriert.
