SKIING PLEASURE WITH A VIEW OF THE DOLOMITES
Hochpuster valley off ers three ski areas which are especially family-friendly.
The largest is Sillian-Hochpustertal ski centre (Skiberg Thurntaler) with 23 km
of snow-covered pistes of all diffi culty levels. Highlight: heatet 6-seat-chair-lift with
bubble. Both the small ski areas in Obertilliach and Kartitsch are ideal for beginners
and families. Night-time skiing is a hit at the Dorfberglift in Kartitsch.

CROSS-COUNTRY PARADISE NO. 1
Anyone who has ever been on the cross-country slopes in Hochpuster valley - and
especially in the Tirol Gail Valley between Kartitsch and Untertilliach - will never want
to cross-country ski anywhere else. Snow-assuredness is guaranteed thanks to the
snow-making facilities. In total cross-country skiers will fi nd 140 km of cross-country
slopes. The new Cross-country skiing and Biathlon Centre in Obertilliach, with
its slopes and shooting range is not just a popular training centre for top-athletes.
Guests are able to prove themselves in skiing and target shooting, and get some

ALTERNATIVE TO THE SKI RUNS
Ski tours are enjoying ever greater popularity. There are no excessively high summits
and diffi cult ski runs; however, there are wonderful Alpine valleys, high plateaus
and mountains which give you an appetite for the peace and quiet of the
Osttirol mountainscape. Top: The Villgraten Valley. The authentic mountaineering
village Kartitsch in Osttirols’ Gail Valley is the ideal base for winter walks and since
2018 the fi rst winter hiking village in Austria. It gets a bit louder at the traditional
toboggan rides, since there are lots of twisty bits in Hochpustertal. Little snow
princess could learn skiing with competent teachers and a lot of fun in the new

PARADISO DELLO SCI DI FONDO N. 1
Chi è stato sulle piste per sci di fondo dell’alta Pusteria - soprattutto in Tirolo
a Gailtal fra Kartitsch e Untertilliach - non vorrà più andare a sciare da un’altra
parte. La della presenza della neve è garantita da un impianto di innevatura. Gli
amanti dello sci di fondo troveranno in totale 140 km di piste ben tracciate. Anche
il nuovo centro per lo sci di fondo e il Biathlon a Obertilliach è considerato, grazie
alle sue piste e al poligono da tiro, uno dei centri di allenamento preferiti non solo
dagli atleti di spicco. Gli ospiti possono cimentarsi nello sci di fondo e nel tiro, con

ALTERNATIVA ALLA PISTA
I percorsi sciistici godono sempre di una grande popolarità. Qui non ci sono soltanto
vette alte e percorsi diffi cili, ma anche splendide valli da pascolo, altipiani e montagne
che fanno venire voglia della tranquillità del mondo montano dell‘Osttirol. Il top: la Villgratental;
L‘autentico villaggio alpinistico di Kartitsch nella valle del Gail, nell‘Osttirol,
è la base ideale per passeggiate invernali e dal 2018 il primo villaggio escursionistico
invernale in Austria. con delle belle gite in slitta ci sarà proprio da divertirsi e l’alta Pusteria
metterà in mostra le sue curve. I piccoli principi e le principesse della neve possono
fare le prime esperienze sulla neve in modo divertente, assistiti da guide esperte.
