Die Block Menü ist Teil der Block-Gruppe, zu der<br />
auch die Block House Restaurantbetriebe AG<br />
gehört. Mit Blick in die Zukunft hat das Unter -<br />
nehmen 2014 sein eigenes Rinderzuchtprogramm<br />
gestartet. Aktuell arbeitet Block House mit 32<br />
Vertragslandwirten zusammen, die 9000 Uckermärker<br />
Rinder <strong>und</strong> seit Neuestem auch Angus-<br />
Rinder für das Unternehmen aufziehen. Die Landwirte<br />
sind in ganz Mecklenburg-Vorpommern <strong>und</strong><br />
Nordbrandenburg verteilt – von der Ostsee bis<br />
zur Elbe.<br />
Naturprodukte vertragen keine<br />
Geschmacksverstärker<br />
Susen <strong>und</strong> Michael Schaake haben den Hof Silberkuhle<br />
in Upahl, einem kleinen Ort in der Nähe von<br />
Grevesmühlen, als neue Heimat für sich entdeckt.<br />
Hier will das Paar schon bald in einem großen<br />
Backsteingebäude eine Manufaktur einrichten.<br />

With an eye to the future, in 2014 the company<br />
launched its own beef breeding programme.<br />
Block House is currently working with 32 contracted<br />
farmers who breed 9,000 Uckermärker<br />
cattle and recently also Angus cattle for the<br />
company. The farmers are spread out throughout<br />
Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and North<br />
Brandenburg, from the Baltic to the Elbe.<br />
No flavour enhancers in natural products<br />
Silberkuhle farm in Upahl, a small village near<br />
Grevesmühlen, has going to become the new<br />
home for Susen and Michael Schaake. Soon they<br />
will be setting up their own manufactory here in a<br />
large brick building. At the moment, they still<br />
make their delicatessen specialities in Hamburg.<br />

top quality starting products and dispense with<br />
any artificial flavour enhancers and preservatives”,
