Schwerin, werden hier für die Spezialitäten geröstet,
gemahlen und veredelt. Schwerin und Upahl
gelten für die Verarbeitung und Veredlung von
Kaffee als wichtige Standorte in Europa.
Dass Norddeutsche durchaus Teetrinker sind, ist
allgemein bekannt. Doch nicht nur der Schwarze
mit Kandis und Sahnehäubchen mundet hier -
zulande. „Wir bieten rund 800 verschiedene Teemischungen
an, darunter 150 Kompositionen mit
Sanddorn“, sagt Markus Brenner, Chef des Hanse
Tee Contors Wismar. Jede (noch so kleine) Lieferung
wird frisch zubereitet – zu 90 Prozent erfolgt
die Fertigung von Hand. „Wir sind eine Manu -
faktur. Das zeigt sich auch bei der Herstellung von
80 Sorten Aufstrich, Feinkosterzeugnissen und
mehr als 100 alkoholischen Getränken. Indivi -
dualität bestimmt unsere Produktion: von der
Rezeptwahl bis zum Etikettieren und Verpacken
der Erzeugnisse.“

It’s a generally well known fact that tea is a popular
beverage in North Germany. But here tastes have
expanded way beyond black tea with rock sugar
capped with cream (the traditional way of drinking
tea in North Germany). “We offer about 800 dif -
ferent tea blends, including 150 compositions with
sea buckthorn”, says Markus Brenner, CEO of
Hanse Tee Contor Wismar. Every time raw mate -
rials are delivered, they are processed immediately
while still fresh, no matter how small the quantity.
Production is 90 percent by hand. “We are a
factory. This is reflected in our production of 80
types of jam, delicatessen products and more
than 100 alcoholic beverages. An individual
approach is the red line throughout our production
process, from choosing the recipe right
through to labelling and packing the products.”
