International Conference on Multifield Problems

It is expected that the international conference on multifield problems attracts
reseachers from different disciplines, who are working on multifield problems in
mathematics and engineering. The conference is organized by the Collaborative
Research Center 404 “Field Interaction Problems” of the German Research Foundation
with expertise in 16 particular projects on topics in this field.
Topics:
• Homogenization and Multiscale Problems
• Numerical Methods
• Solid Mechanics
• Porous Media and Fluid-Structure-Interaction
Call for papers:
The conference program will consist of invited and contributed papers. Prospective
speakers should submit an one-page abstract until November 30, 2001. Reviewed
papers will be published in Springer Lecture Notes in Applied Mechanics.
