Zum dritten Mal feiert das Deutsche Auswandererhaus
den Jahrestag seiner Eröffnung,
diesmal am 6. August 2008. Bei einem
großen Open-Air-Konzert tritt die deutsche
HipHop-Band „Fettes Brot“ direkt am
Neuen Hafen vor dem Deutschen Auswandererhaus
auf. Die Band spielte bereits zur
Eröffnung und zum ersten Jubiläum und
begeisterte bis zu 5.000 Fans. Das Konzert
findet in Kooperation mit Bremen Vier und
Deichhelden statt. Durch das Vorprogramm,
das von Mitarbeitern des Deutschen Auswandererhauses
gestaltet wird, führt das
Team von Bremen Vier. Der Reinerlös geht
an das „Pädagogische Zentrum Bremerhaven
e.V.“, das jungen Flüchtlingen Sprachkurse
und berufliche Orientierung bietet.

jointly by the radio stations Bremen Vier
and Deichhelden. The Bremen Vier team
will moderate the prelimary program, put
together by the German Emigration Center
staff. Net proceeds from the concert will go
to the Pädagogisches Zentrum Bremerhaven
e.V., an educational program offering language
courses and professional orientation
for young refugees.
